Description:

Whether in our homes, our vehicles, our businesses, or to power industry, energy is something each of us uses every day. Yet, few of us think about how that energy gets to where it is needed and why it is vitally important.

Putting communities and businesses in the middle, the need for critical energy infrastructure such as Enbridge’s Line 5 pipeline has been hotly debated. Line 5 serves Michigan, Ontario and the region and helps shape the area’s crucial economic and trade relationship.

Enbridge CEO Al Monaco will take the CUSBA podium next Thursday to discuss the company’s role in the energy supply, the potential impacts Line 5 has on both sides of the border, what it means for businesses and communities, and what Enbridge is doing to protect both the Great Lakes and this critical energy artery.
